it would be nice to see the rig builders while they build the transmitters, tune them, use band pass filters and check how clean they are on analysers, but they won't as that would prove they don't interfere with other services or users, or do they ?? Anyone ever checked a rig on an analyser ?? maybe a new video ?

Not out of a sense of malevolence or anything, more a case of that it would tickle my sense of humour to see the look on the pusses of the pirate stations' bubble jacket 'n' baseball hat wearing, spliff toting listeners if somehow Radio 2's feed got locked in to Bangin' FM's microwave link (or, like, whoever) the day Cliff Richard quietly and peacefully passes away in his bed, surrounded by his loving, er, relations, etc, - so the BBC are playing wall - to - wall Cliff tracks, all weekend. And the only guy who knows how to get into the plant room without getting smoked by RF is _deep_ into a 'K' binge! *Now* you know what it sounds like to us 'normies' when you come past in your Civic, elbow leaning out the window, as you set the plate - glass shop windows resonating trepedatiously and give teenage girls nosebleeds, with that 220bpm Drum 'n' Bass cacophony blaring out like some sort of crowd control weapon! (Let alone when you feel it's your duty to 'share the joy' and set up your speakers in your bedroom window like some sort of P/A, beaming it out over the neighbourhood!)

Without the pirate radio stations a lot the music that exists today and many of the people involved in it wouldn't have existed. They owe it all to pirate radio!!
